Alyssa "Ajay" Junious

Ajay Junious is a San Diego-based director, choreographer, movement consultant, and teaching artist with over 15 years of professional experience in concert dance, musical theatre, and the commercial industry.

She holds a B.F.A. in Performance and Choreography from the University of California, Irvine, along with a Certificate in Arts Management. She is currently a Musical Theatre M.F.A. candidate at San Diego State University and will graduate in May 2026.

​

As a professional dancer and theater artist, Ajay has collaborated with numerous esteemed companies and institutions, including La Jolla Playhouse, Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, New Village Arts, San Diego Musical Theatre, Oceanside Theatre Company, Teatro San Diego, San Diego Dance Theater, Malashock, and PGK Dance Project.

Her choreography and movement consulting are informed by her extensive training in dance, music, and theatre, resulting in dynamic, interdisciplinary work.
